I am Prof. Roldão da Rocha, Associate Professor at the Center of Mathematics,  Federal University of ABC (UFABC), Santo André, Brazil, since 2007.

Research Grant  CNPq PQ-1D of scientific productivity.

I currently supervise Ph.D. and M.Sc.  in both Physics in Mathematics  graduate programs, and also undergraduate students at UFABC. Undergraduate, M. Sc. and Ph. D. students, and post-docs, are welcome in my Research Group.

Recently, I published the book

An Introduction to Clifford Algebras and Spinors, Oxford University Press, Oxford, 2016

On 2014, I spent my sabbatical year as a visiting professor at the Theoretical and Particle Physics group at SISSA (Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati), Trieste, Italy, wherein I have started a scientifically profitable collaboration with such group and have consolidated the already existing collaboration with other Research Groups at Italy, as the Dipartimento de Fisica dell’Università di Bologna e Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare, as well.

I currently collaborate with research groups at  Federal University of ABC, TPP-SISSA (Trieste, Italy), Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN – Bologna/Napoli, Italy), FIAS – Frankfurt (Germany), UAP and UNAM (Mexico), UFSCar, USP, Unesp, IFT, Univ. Fed. Ceará, Univ. Fed. Paraíba, Univ. Est. Paraná, Univ. Federal do Rio de Janeiro and Unicamp.

My main research lines and research interests are AdS/CFT, fluid/gravity correspondence, hydrodynamical aspects of black holes, black strings and black branes, informational entropy, algebraic and geometric methods in mathematical-physics, singular spinor fields, gauge theory.
